EAST MIDLANDS AIRPORT WINS ACW AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE
East Midlands Airport (EMA), the UK's No. 1 pure cargo airport has been voted by airlines and other cargo industry professionals as the UK's best cargo airport in the 100,000 to 499,000 tonne throughput category in the 2010 Air Cargo World magazine Air Cargo Excellence survey.
EMA is the only UK airport to win an award in any category.
This is the fifth time the survey has been undertaken by Air Cargo World and Manchester Airport was a previous winner in the 2009 survey. The Awards for excellence are achieved by gaining superior ratings from airline and cargo customers in four key areas of measurement - Performance, Value, Facilities and Operations.
This is the fourth time in the history of the surveys that EMA has been a winner, demonstrating our passion and commitment to cargo operators and industry partners in the air cargo industry.
