Air Traffic Control
Following the airspace expansion, East Midlands Airport (EMA) Air Traffic Control have put together the EMA VFR Pilot web site to provide both written and pictorial information to assist the VFR (Visual Flight Rules) pilot whilst flying in or around EMA controlled airspace.
The EMA VFR Pilot web site has been compiled by an Air Traffic Controller at East Midlands Airport who is an active PPL holder and flies within the area on a regular basis. This has been provided for guidance purposes only. While every effort has been made in the compilation of this information, East Midlands Airport or the controller will not be responsible for the adequacy or accuracy of the contents or for any omissions therein and accepts no liability arising from reliance upon such information. It remains the responsibility of the pilot in command to carry out pre-flight planning based on current data from approved sources.
