I’ve pre-booked my car parking, what should I do when I get to the airport?

On arrival at the car park:

Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking

On exiting the car park:

Proceed straight to the exit barrier and stop
The ANPR system will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you exit
Please DO NOT in any circumstance insert your credit card or debit card into the barrier as a further payment will be taken

How are parking charges calculated on this website?

Parking is charged per day or part thereof. All prices shown are in GBP and include VAT at 20%.

How do I amend my car park booking?

You may amend your booking up to 6 hours* before your car parking commences, online or by calling 0871 310 3300**.

Please note if you booked during a sale or at a lower price and that rate is no longer available, the current rate will apply.

*Where specified in the product details some bookings cannot be amended or cancelled or require 24 hours notice.

How do I cancel my car park booking?

You may cancel your booking up to 6 hours* before your car parking commences, online or by calling 0871 310 3300**.

You will receive a full refund provided your cancellation is received at least 6 hours* before your car parking commences.

How do I know my payment details are secure?

To protect your privacy and security, our website uses SSL encryption software, which is the industry standard. It encrypts your personal information so that it cannot be read.

You will know you are in the secure area of our site when the website address is preceded by “https://” and a padlock symbol appears in the frame of your browser.

I have a blue badge, where should I park?

We offer the following Car Parking options for Blue Badge holders:

  • For dropping off and picking up friends and family, park in our Short Stay Car Park for upto 30mins for FREE
  • For longer stays, pre book Short Stay, Long Stay* 1, Long Stay 4*or Jet Parks Plus* on-line.
  • All Car Parking options above can be booked on-line or via our call centre on 0871 200 3000**

* Long stay 1 and 4 and Jet Parks Plus are busable products. All buses are DDA compliant.

In the event that a Blue Badge bay is not available you may use any bay within the Short Stay Car Park.

Not Pre Booked?
If you haven’t pre-booked, please park in one of the Blue Badge spaces in the Short Stay, Long Stay and JetParks Plus Car Parks and on your return please present your car park ticket and Blue Badge at the Car Park Enquiries Office opposite the Arrivals Hall. You will be charged for the car parked you park in.

Just Visiting?
Blue Badge holders are entitled to use the Short Stay Car Park for up to 30 minutes FREE. The ticket obtained on entry, together with the Blue Badge must be presented at the Car Park Enquiries Office located opposite the Arrivals Hall in order for the ticket to be validated for the free exit. Any time spent in the Short Stay Car Park after the first 30 minutes is chargeable as per the tariffs displayed on entry. The free period does not apply to the Rapid Drop Off zone.

My vehicle details have changed. What do I do?

You can update your vehicle details free of charge up to 6 hours* before your parking commences, by calling 0871 310 3300**, or you can do it online.

What happens after I have made my car park booking?

You will receive an on-screen confirmation, detailing your booking reference and instructions. Please print this page for your records as you’ll need this information at the airport.

We will also send you a confirmation email. Please ensure your vehicle registration details are correct as this is used to give you access to the car park. There is an option to amend your booking if you will be arriving at the airport in a different vehicle than originally planned. Failure to receive this confirmation email has no bearing on the status of your booking.

What payment methods are accepted for car parking?

Pre-booking via the website or call centre

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Maestro, American Express, JCB, Electron and Solo for pre-booking. We are unable to accept any other form of payment via this website or the call centre. Please note if you choose to pay by credit card or prepaid card, you will be charged a 1.50 card fee. We do not charge a fee for debit cards.

Payment at the car park

We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as cash at the car park pay machines. Receipts are available on request. Please note if you choose to pay by credit card, you will be charged a 1.50 credit card fee. We do not charge a fee for debit cards.
