Is there a viewing balcony at the airport?
The viewing balcony was removed several years ago and there is no longer an indoor facility from which to view the planes. The nearby Aeropark is a fantastic vantage point.

What are the Aeropark’s opening times?
The Aeropark is open between May and September at the following times:

Thursdays 10am until 5pm
Saturdays 12noon until 5pm and
Sundays 10.30am until 7pm

During winter months, October to April, the opening hours are reduced to: Sundays 10.30am to 5pm or dusk (whichever is earlier).

Entrance to the park is only £2 for over 15’s, car parking is free (please note entrance fees vary on special event days and for large groups).

Who runs the Aeropark?
The Aeropark is staffed by a small group of volunteers, the Aeropark Volunteers Association (AVA). Not only does the AVA run our public open days, they also restore and maintain all the aircraft on display.
