Cycle to Work Scheme
The Cycle to Work Scheme is a Government green transport initiative which allows businesses to offer employees the option of hiring a bicycle and cycle safety equipment over a 12 month pay-back period without having to pay Tax, National Insurance or VAT on the payments. Savings can amount to a whopping 50% off the original cost.
The airport already has this scheme in place for employees and is working with on-site businesses in assisting them in setting up the scheme. Speak to your employer about this.
