Flybe's winter getaway bargains take to the skies from East Midlands Airport

The start of Flybe’s 2012-13 Winter programme this Sunday (October 28th) from East Midlands Airport with a choice of seven routes, including four that are brand new for winter, has been applauded by local high profile business leaders particularly for the additional global connectivity that those to Amsterdam, and Paris Charles de Gaulle through its codeshare with Air France, now offer.

“It’s fantastic news that Flybe is adding to the destinations offered from East Midlands and also giving local businesses the ability to connect to places where they want to do business,” comments Ron Lynch, Regional Director for the Institute of Directors: while George Cowcher, Chief Executive of Derby & Nottingham Chamber of Commerce adds that “the connectivity to the international ‘hubs’ of Amsterdam and Paris is an essential development giving a boost to assist business travellers and will be welcomed right across the region.”
