BBC Children in Need is back at EMA

Come and join East Midlands Airport and the BBC for a night of fun, games and fundraising.

The regional Children in Need programme will be broadcast live from the check-in hall at East Midlands Airport from 6pm – 10pm on Friday 19th November and everyone is welcome.

Not only will you be able to meet some of the regions favourite TV and radio presenters, but you will also get to see them, as you’ve never seen them before, when they perform a live panto, just for you.

There will be live performances from some of the regions favourite bands and groups; including ‘Dale Diva’, winners of Channel 5’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ talent show, the famous, Lace City Chorus and you will have the chance to see some ex footballing faces, in a special performance from ‘The Establishment’.

But, the fun doesn’t stop there, why not bring your friends and family and have a go on the snowboard simulator and bouncy castle or even get yourself on TV and have a go at presenting the weather, taking your effort home to wow those who couldn’t come to see it for real.

As well, as learning about the switch over to digital TV from the one and only ‘Digit Al’, you can have your picture taken with the many stars and meet a celebrity chef judge, who will decide on the winner of the BBC’s cake bake off.

Raffle tickets will be on sale on the evening for just 1 and you will have the chance to win some fantastic prizes; including a weekend break for two in Spain, eating out and beauty vouchers, plus tickets to many local attractions.

In addition to all of the great entertainment, there will also be the chance to present any cheques live on TV, so if you have done something to raise money for the charity, come down and tell everyone what you have done.

There are also some great deals on transport to make it even easier for you to enjoy the night; you can park in the short stay car park for just 1 for the entire evening, which will be donated straight to Children in Need, or you can get some great deals if you use the Skylink buses from any of the surrounding cities. All proceeds made on the evening will be donated directly to Children in Need, so get involved and show us your spots!
