Shannon
The Shannon Region has so much on offer that the choices are endless. Head to the water whether beach, river or lake; take a leisurely drive, visit any one of over 100 visitor attractions; take a stroll in a forest, park or formal garden; go dolphin watching or take a boat trip - the choices are yours.
The Shannon Region consists of counties Clare and Limerick. Clare has an abundance of visual riches from the famous river Shannon and Lough Derg which form its eastern boundary and west towards its rugged Atlantic coastline with towering cliffs and golden beaches. Limerick is a county of quiet beauty and rural charm. Its gentle undulating landscape is pleasing to the eye from the beautiful Golden Vale in the east to the tidal estuary Shannon Estuary in the west.

Belfast
Voted second favourite UK city this year in the Guardian/Observer Travel Awards, Belfast is a lively, year-round city with plenty to see and do. Whether you want some action packed days and clubbing nights out or plan to enjoy a luxury city break – Belfast is certainly worth a visit.

If you love fashion and shopping why not pay a visit to the new Victoria Square complex. With over seventy fashion retailers including House of Fraser, CRUISE, Hugo Boss and Reiss, Belfast is fashion heaven. Victoria Square opened on 6 March 2008 and was almost eight years in the making. Aside from the shopping, there is so much to see and do. The glass dome is made up of triangular pieces of glass and also boasts a fabulous indoor lily pad viewing area with spectacular views of the city.

The city offers activities for all ages and interests: guided walking tours, a historical pub tour, the Titanic Trail, Lagan boat trips and an exciting array of art galleries. There’s also an abundance of popular bars and clubs and high quality restaurants to choose from.
