Ryanair visits the high flyers of Thrussington Primary School
Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (ted pupils at Thrussington Primary School in Leicestershire.
The children were delighted when Ryanair’s training pilot Claire Jackson gave them an insight into what it’s like to be a pilot for a day.
The children, who are currently learning about aviation, transformed their classroom into an airplane and airport for the exercise and were excited when Claire gave them some goodies to help with their project.
Ryanair’s Claire Jackon said:
“I was delighted to be asked along today by the school to talk to the pupils. What a fantastic group of budding Ryanair pilots! Bursting with enthusiasm and knowledge of the aviation world, they are a credit to the school and their current ‘Our World’ project”.
Thrussington Primary Nursery Nurse Jo Berry said:
"The children and staff were excited about hearing what it’s like to be a pilot and delighted that Ryanair could join us today. Our topic this term is 'Our World' and we have been learning about life in other countries and travelling around using different forms of transport. We have turned our role play area into an airplane and are delighted to have a real pilot onboard!”
