easyJet Launches Barcelona
easyJet have today announced Barcelona as their newest destination from East Midlands Airport.
Commencing 7 December 2007, the service will operate four times weekly direct from EMA to the Spanish city.
The number of routes easyJet offers from the airport is now eleven; destinations including Alicante, Geneva and Prague.
Penny Coates, Managing Director, East Midlands Airport said
"I am pleased to see easyJet continuing to grow at EMA. Barcelona is certainly going to be a popular destination with the region as it has an abundance of cultural and entertainment delights for people to enjoy.”
Seats are on sale at www.easyJet.com from today (26 September) and start from just £17.99 one-way (£30.98 return) including taxes.
