Express Lane is a new dedicated channel to enable you to fly through security and reach the departure lounge quicker. Simply purchase your ticket from the Express Lane desk located in the departures hall and make your way to the security search area.
Tickets for the Express Lane cost just £3.00 per passenger.
Express Lane is available from 05:00 - 19:00 hours.
Introductory offer: children aged 5 years or younger and accompanied by a full paying adult can use the Express Lane at no charge.
Please note:
Passengers that have an Express Lane ticket will be given a priority service to ensure that waiting at security is kept to a minimum. Please note however, we cannot guarantee a maximum or minimum queue length or time. All passengers are subject to the same security procedures and regulations and we therefore recommend that you allow enough time for the standard security and x-ray screening. East Midlands Airport is not responsible for any passengers who miss their flight because they did not allow enough time to go through the check-in and security process.
