East Midlands Airport is open H24 / 7 / 365 and no runway slots are required so you can arrive and depart at times that suit you. In the interests of safety and security, it is a mandatory requirement for all visiting aircraft to have a designated handling agent and this should be booked in advance of your arrival. The handling agent of your choice will issue you with a unique handling reference and this should be given to ATC after landing so that you can be directed to the correct parking area.

Aircraft arriving without a handling reference will be met by an EMA Operations vehicle which will guide and marshal you to a safe parking position. They will then escort pilot(s) and passenger(s) landside where the following compulsory charge will be levied (payable by cash or credit card) for the service provided:

• Aircraft with a MTOW of 0 to 2 tonnes £ 75.00 + VAT
• Aircraft with a MTOW greater than 2 tonnes up to and incl. 5 tonnes £ 200 + VAT
• Aircraft with a MTOW greater than 5 tonnes up to and incl. 10 tonnes £ 400 + VAT
• Aircraft with a MTOW greater than 10 tonnes up to and incl. 20 tonnes £ 600 + VAT
• Aircraft with a MTOW greater than 20 tonnes £ 800 + VAT

Once landside, the pilot(s) must contact one of the designated handling agents listed above to gain further access to the aircraft.
