Passenger numbers have experienced a steady increase this financial year with a reported 4% increase to date. The airport is well positioned for future growth and is looking forward to welcoming an additional based aircraft with bmibaby this winter and the arrival of a third based aircraft with Jet2.com next summer.
While regular flyers have become used to the baggage security restrictions in place, the airport reminds all passengers to check the latest security information on www.eastmidlandsairport.com before travelling.
