New to the airport is Castle Rock Taproom and Kitchen. It is a unique airport bar concept with Nottingham-based Castle Rock Brewery offering a wide selection of locally produced drinks and food. The terminal also benefits from the opening of the new Burger King and Flat White Coffee Club.

New Retailers

In conjunction with the planned redevelopment the Arrivals area now benefits from a newly opened 'Boots' retailer.

Security Hall

As part of the redevelopment a  1.5 million investment has been made to improve the security check-in procedure to the airport.
This involves the addition of state-of-the-art security equipment, an improved passenger preparation area and the addition of a dedicated queuing area.

All new security security lanes are now open and in operation with an aim to minimise queuing times during security check-in.
