Travelling to the airport by bus

East Midlands Airport is easily accessible by using public buses. There are many quick and convenient routes to a whole host of locations - Nottingham, Leicester and Derby, just to name a few. For advice on planning your journey, visit Traveline.

Buses arrive and depart from the Coach Station located next to the terminal building. 

By bus to Nottingham, Long Eaton and Coalville

The skylink Nottingham service runs directly and frequently every 20 minutes during the day, and hourly at night. There’s also an extension to Shepshed and Coalville, operating hourly from 04:00 - 19:00.

You can also catch the skylink express to Trent Bridge and central Nottingham every half hour, serving key locations from 04:00 - 23:00.

By bus to Derby, Leicester and Loughborough

The skylink bus run every 15 minutes during the day and hourly at night.

The my15 bus service goes to Ilkeston every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and hourly Sundays, also serving Castle Donington, Long Eaton, and Stapleford.
