Children aged 0-23 months enter Escape Lounge for free. Please call free on 0808 168 6111 to make us aware if you are bringing children aged 0-23 months.

Due to new safety measures in place, we are no longer allowing groups larger than 4 in the East Midlands Airport Escape Lounge. Separate bookings forming a group larger than 4 will be refused access to the Lounge and no refunds will be given.

Food for thought

Away from the hustle and bustle of the terminal, Escape offers a place to take some time out before your flight. Enjoy some of the delicious food and drink we have available for you. At breakfast we offer a selection of favourites from traditional hot items to cereals, fruits and pastries. From lunchtime onwards our chefs deliver freshly baked focaccia – made in-house each day; a range of pastas and sauces, fresh salads and a selection of moreish cakes and biscuits. We won’t lie, we are not a full-service restaurant offering an a la carte menu but we offer great food and drinks at whatever time of day you visit and it’s included within your booking price*

Enjoy a drink with us

Our complimentary bar is well stocked with a selection of wines, beer and spirits, alongside Twinings tea, coffee, soft drinks and fresh fruit juices.

Following recent guest feedback, we're trialling a new system of serving alcoholic drinks in our lounge. From 3rd February 2020, all guests over the age of 18 will be provided with three tokens upon check in, which can each be exchanged at the bar for a beer, glass of wine or single measure of spirits. Our full selection of soft drinks, juices, water and hot beverages are still unlimited!

We welcome passengers travelling on business or pleasure from any airline and any ticket class. We also accept passengers from DragonPass, Diners Club, Holiday Extras, Lounge Pass, Lounge Club, Lounge Key and Priority Pass – with access to each of our airport lounges subject to availability on the day of arrival.

If you are travelling in business class, please check with your airline for details.

Please note the lounges no longer accept cash payment for guests wishing to pay and enter on the day of travel.

Your stay duration in our Escape Lounge at East Midlands Airport can be found on your booking confirmation. Stay durations may vary.

Escape Lounges have a smart - casual dress code and request that our guests dress appropriately for their visit. We do not allow certain items including (but not limited to): replica sports kits or items with team names/logos, clothing with slogans or motifs that may cause offence, caps/hats, fancy dress, clothing that exposes midriffs or upper thighs, or bare shoulders on men. Guests will also not be permitted to enter the lounge whilst using hair rollers. We reserve the right to refuse entry, without refund, to anyone wearing clothing we deem to be unsuitable.

We welcome well-behaved children in the Escape Lounge; those aged 24 months and older are required to pay the standard entry price. Children aged 0-23 months are permitted to enter for free, however we must be made aware of all infants in your party otherwise they may not be admitted. Whilst we welcome well-behaved children to the lounge, this is a quiet, adult environment and we do not provide specific entertainment for children.

Yes, our Escape lounge is accessible for wheelchair users.

It’s very simple! Collect 6 stamps and we will send you a code to get your 7th visit absolutely free.

  • Pick up a loyalty card in the lounge and get a stamp each time you visit.

  • When you have a full card hand this to our team in the lounge and a code will be sent to you. Please note, during very busy periods, this may take up to 3 weeks to arrive.

  • The code has to be used on the website to redeem your free entry. The code is not valid if not used to make a pre-booking

  • Stamps can not be back dated for past visits nor to replace those on cards lost
