With a choice of three stations, it’s never been easier to travel by train to East Midlands Airport.

Derby train station

Connect at Derby for journeys to and from the north and west of the UK.  The Skylink bus connects this station with the airport every 30 minutes, seven days a week.

Nottingham train station

Connect at Nottingham for journeys to and from the east of the UK.  The Skylink bus connects this station with the airport every 30 minutes, seven days a week.

East Midlands Parkway train station

Connect at East Midlands Parkway for journeys to and from Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln, Sheffield and London. 

NEW! A new pre-bookable shared shuttle service provides a fast and direct connection between the station and the airport.

To guarantee your seat at a reduced rate of just £4.50, please ensure that you have booked at least 12 hours or more in advance of the shuttle being required. When booking your seat please provide a contact telephone number and email address.  You will receive an email to confirm your booking.  If you have not booked your seat, a taxi will be available at East Midlands Parkway station and will be chargeable at normal rates.

Arrow Cars are available at the airport on 01332 814000 in the event that a shuttle service has not been pre-booked.

This is a shared shuttle service and therefore there may be a wait of up to 15 minutes for other passengers who have booked in the same time slot.

The journey between the station and airport takes 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

How to book your reduced rate seat

• You can book at the same time as booking your train ticket online by completing the booking form.
• You can book online at any time by visiting eastmidlandstrains.co.uk/taxi

The shuttle will pick you up outside East Midlands Parkway station from the dedicated taxi rank. If you have booked a return journey from East Midlands Airport, please ask for the East Midlands Parkway shuttle service at the Information Desk in the Arrivals building.

Train and bus ‘Add-on’ ticket
If you’re travelling to Derby or Nottingham railway stations, you can connect onto the Skylink bus at a discounted rate by buying a combined train and bus ‘add-on’ ticket from the railway station where your journey begins. ‘Add-on’ tickets cannot be purchased online or onboard the train.
