Very friendly staff, all food was hot. I was in between 7am-9.30am and the breakfast was delicious. Comfortable seating area. Clean and tidy. Staff going around cleaning tables at all times. Best lounge I've been in so far.

We are located in the main Terminal on ground level.

Proceed through Security and Duty Free.

The Lounge is located after the shopping area, opposite Gate 17.

DragonPass and Priority Pass card holders can now pre-book their space within our lounges. Guarantee your seat in our Escape Lounge at East Midlands Airport by reserving your space via our dedicated DragonPass or Priority Pass booking portal.*

It is important to remember that you will need your DragonPass or Priority Pass card to enter the lounges. If you fail to arrive to the Escape Lounge within 2 hours of your pre-booked time, we reserve the right to free your seat.

*There is a fee for cardholders reserving the lounge. Reservations are not subject to a 'last seat availability guarantee'.

How do I access the lounge?

Escape Lounges are open to all travellers, regardless of airline or ticket class.

You can turn up to the lounge on the day and pay at the door to enter.

Or, to guarantee a place in our lounge exactly when it suits you, you can pre-book your space using our booking tool (this must be done at least 24 hours prior to entry).

How do I pre-book the Escape Lounge?

Which passes are accepted?

We accept several membership cards, including DragonPass, Priority Pass, Lounge Key, Lounge Club, Diners Club, Lounge Me and TAV Passport.

Eligible guests can use their cards to gain access for themselves and up to three guests.

Please check with your card provider for information about any cost associated with entry for the card holder and any guests.

All card holder access is subject to availability. To gain entry, you must bring your card with you to show at the reception desk when you arrive.

Are children permitted in the lounge?

Children are allowed entry into Escape Lounges. Those aged 35 months and under receive free entry.

I want to book a group of more than 6 people. Can you help?

During busy periods from May to October, we do not accept bookings for groups larger than 6 people. For other times of the year, please contact us for further guidance.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code in Escape Lounges is smart casual.

We do not allow certain items, including: (but not limited to) football/rugby tops or Sports team shirts/shorts, clothing with slogans or motifs that may cause offence, fancy dress including sashes/headwear/matching items, clothing that exposes midriffs or upper thighs. Hair rollers or pin curls must be covered with a head scarf.

We reserve the right to refuse entry, without refund, to anyone wearing clothing we deem to be unsuitable.

What is included in the price?

Your visit to our Escape Lounges includes complimentary access to a range of premium facilities, as well as food and drinks.

Escape Lounges offers a variety of complimentary freshly made dishes from our chef-curated menu. Menus vary at every location as they are prepared by local chefs with the local community’s taste in mind.Complimentary refreshments include coffee and tea, soft drinks, wine, beer and spirits. You can also purchase premium alcoholic beverages for an additional cost.

How long can I stay in the lounge?

Guests will have access to the lounge 3 hours prior to their scheduled flight departure time.
