Answers to all your question about East Midlands Airport's Aerozone

Here are a few frequently asked questions about the Aerozone:
Groups are welcome to visit the Aerozone for one off or frequent visits. Just get in touch to check availability and to book your visit.
Visits for all educational groups, local community groups and charities are free of charge. Transport to and from the airport is not included and must be organised by the school or community group.
The Aerozone is made up of three spaces; Meeting Zone, Learning Zone and East Minilands. You can book all of these spaces, or just one depending on your requirements. The Meeting Zone can seat 10 people and the Learning Zone can seat 30 people at round tables. East Minilands can fit between 20 and 30 people.
Please note that the Aerozone can only cater for a class of 30 children (maximum) at a time for health and safety reasons. If you would like to bring two classes, they would need to be split with the Aeropark. Please get in touch to discuss this option.
There are many different opportunities for all groups in the Aerozone. To find out more visit our Aerozone Resources page.
We can arrange parking for cars and mini buses free of charge in the short stay car park. Coaches are asked to leave site and return late to pick up. Please specify your parking requirements when you book.
Due to the high security regulations in place at the airport, we are unable to offer any tours of the terminal building or airfield. Groups are welcome to visit the check in hall and arrivals area and there are educational resources available which help to pinpoint features and points of interest.
Unfortunately we do not have a viewing area at the airport. If this is something that interests your group, you can contact the Aeropark to arrange a visit. The Aeropark are happy to welcome school groups, and while there you get great views of the runway.
View our dedicated Aeropark pages for more information.
In order to ensure that your visit is tailored to your groups needs, we need at least four weeks notice for any bookings.
