Long Stay parking at East Midlands Airport is your ideal option when you’re going away for a week or longer.

Our two Long Stay car parks provide great value for money - perfect for leisure travellers. With Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) for easy entry and exit, simply pull up and keep hold of your keys. You can then head to the nearest bus stop where a free shuttle bus will come every 15 minutes to take you straight to the terminal.

How does Long Stay parking work?

Say goodbye to stressful planning and parking, and follow these 4 simple steps:

Book in advance: Pre-book to guarantee your space, especially during busy periods.
Park up: Our ANPR system will recognise your vehicle’s number plate and open the barrier.
Head to the terminal: Jump on our shuttle bus which comes every 15 minutes - then it's only a 3–5 minute transfer.
When you return: Find your vehicle right where you left it, and head out through our automatic barrier.

Where is Long Stay Parking located?

There are two Long Stay car parks at East Midlands Airport, both only a short 3-5 minute journey away from the terminal on our free shuttle bus.

Directions to Long Stay 1

Long Stay 1 postcode: DE74 2TL

Exit the M1 or A42 onto the A453.
Follow the road until you reach the main entrance to the airport.
Turn right into the airport.
At the first roundabout, take the first exit.
Carry straight on at the next roundabout, and take the first exit at the third roundabout.
Go straight on at the fourth roundabout and follow the road until you reach a junction.
Long Stay 1 is located on your left.

Are motorcycles allowed in Long Stay?

Motorcyclists can pre-book a space by contacting our call centre on 08081 697029. Calls are free from landlines and mobiles.

What happens if I pick my car up late?

Arrivals and departures before or after booked days will incur an additional charge. Please see terms and conditions for further information.

What is the minimum stay in the Long Stay car park?

Please note, these stay durations are subject to change due to car park availability.

How do I get to the terminal from Long Stay?

Our free shuttle bus operates 24 hours a day, every day. With shuttle buses every 20 minutes, it’s a quick 3-5 minute journey from the car park to the terminal doors. When returning, the Pick Up zone is just outside of arrivals.

Long Stay 1 has three bus stops located inside the car park.

Long Stay 2 has a bus stop on the road just outside the car park.
