The viewing balcony was removed several years ago and there is no longer an indoor facility from which to view the planes. The nearby Aeropark has its own viewing mound, making it a fantastic vantage point. Find out more about the Aeropark here.

The Aeropark is open between April and October 2019 at the following times:

  • Thursday: 11.00 – 16.00

  • Saturday: 12.00 – 17.00

  • Sunday: 10.30 – 17.00

During November – March the Aeropark is closed to the public.

Entrance to the Aeropark is free for children under 5 years, £2 for 5-16 years and £4 for adults. Car parking is free.

Schools groups wishing to visit the Aeropark will need to book in advance. Please email the Community Relations team initially to enquire about the Aeropark for a school trip.

The Aeropark is staffed by a small group of volunteers, the Aeropark Volunteers Association (AVA). Not only does AVA run the public open days at the Aeropark, they also restore and maintain all aircraft on display.
