Working with Leicestershire Police on Project Servator

The security of passengers and staff is of paramount importance. Keeping you safe while using the airport is our number one priority

Project Servator

We’re delighted to be supporting Leicestershire Police with Project Servator - an intelligence-led police deployment designed to disrupt a range of criminality at East Midlands Airport.

Deployments are unpredictable and can happen at any time, night or day and include visible and less visible tactics, such as uniformed, plain-clothed and armed officers, vehicle checkpoints, CCTV, ANPR and other policing techniques.

The Servator team is also working with other businesses on the airport site so everyone is well briefed about what to be on the lookout for and how to report anything suspicious.

If you see police officers on patrol, please free to have a chat and they will be happy to explain what they are doing to keep everyone safe and secure at all times.

How you can help

The public has an important role to play in helping to keep the airport safe by reporting anything that doesn't feel right, for example, an unattended item or someone acting suspiciously.

You’ll never get into trouble for reporting a genuine concern and officers and airport security will always take the report seriously.

If you see something suspicious, please tell a member of the security team or police officer, call the confidential Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321 or in an emergency, always call 999.
